As I’m about to battle the bitterly cold winter of New York, I needed a super hand cream that could keep my mitts nice and soft. Step up the Dr Nick Lowe Double Duty SPF15 Hand Cream* which moisturises, smoothes and protects. I’m a big fan of this range anyway for affordable products that really work and I love this hand cream.
It hasn’t really got much of a smell so if you like more floral smelling hand creams this one may not float your boat, but I love the consistency – it’s very thick and really coats the hands. I found if I rubbed it in my hands in the morning first it would last well up til luch (and yes, that does include with washing my hands!).
Complete with SPF15, an advance dual action Vitamin A, potent moisturisers and a Mulberry derived skin lightener it also claims to smooth out fine lines and wrinkles, although I havn’t been using it long enough to say whether that is true or not! Normally retailing at £13.99, it’s currently on offer at Boots here for £9.99 – definitely worth picking up as a winter staple.
